Mary L. Faggione, (Sister Christine), 90, a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday May 15, 2023, at Bon Secour Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. The daughter of the late Edward and Walburga (Roehrig) Riehl, was born on May 1, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan. She taught RCIA at St. Mary’s Port Jervis, Ny. After many years of teaching, she retired from religious life and later married John Paulison (deceased). A few years later she fell in love again and married James Faggione, Sr. (deceased). She always felt so fortunate to be a part of his children’s lives.
