Frederick J. Nordenhold, of Beach Lake, PA, a longtime resident of the area, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 85. The son of the late John and Frieda (Franke) Nordenhold, he was born October 25, 1936, in Long Island, NY.

Frederick was married for 62 years to the late Ingeborg Nordenhold, who had passed away on June 30, 2021.

Fred was a retired Dairy Farmer and a loyal member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg, NY. A family statement reads” Fred was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was very devoted to his family and the farm. He worked 7 days week all of his life. He had a smile and good words for everyone!  He left behind his little friend Tiny(the dog). Fred will truly be missed by all.”

Survived by: his four children: David Nordenhold and his wife Sue of Beach Lake, PA, Roy Nordenhold of Tyler Hill, PA, Kimberly Kabonick and her husband Michael of Damascus, PA and Mark Nordenhold and his wife Nicole of Hawley, PA, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, brother: Ralph Nordenhold and his wife Sandy of Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Fred is predeceased by his wife Ingeborg, his two daughters: Penny Rivenburg and Cynthia M. Nordenhold.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2021 from 10:00am to 12:00noon at St. Paul’s Lutheran, Narrowsburg, NY 12764. A Memorial Service will follow visitation at 12:00 noon. Rev. Phyllis Haynes will officiate. Christian burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY 12764
