Carol Pagnozzi

Carol Ann ( Caputo) Pagnozzi, a longtime resident of the area, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Honesdale, PA with her husband by her side.  The daughter of the late Thomas and Jean (Natale) Caputo, she was born January 4, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY.  She was 84 years old.

Carol Ann was a retired Stenographer/Typist.  She was married for 39 years to the love of her life Paul Pagnozzi.   She was a member of St. Francis Xavier RC Church, Narrowsburg, NY.   

A family statement reads: “Carol was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.  Paul fell in love with Carol at first sight.  On their first date she cooked for him, he knew he would marry her.  She was an outstanding cook and always had something on the stove.  She took great care of her family.   She will be truly missed by her friends, but most of all by her family.” 

Survivors include her husband, Paul, his daughter : Rebecca Arthur and her husband Frank of Duda, Texas, his son: Paul Pagnozzi and his wife Lisa of South Carolina, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her sister: Jean Beatrice of Brooklyn, NY, one nephew and one niece. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home 3412 SR 97, Barryville, NY 12719, 845-557-8010 and Monday October 10, 2022 from 10:30am to 11:15am. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 10, 2022 at 12Noon at St. Francis Xavier RC Church, Narrowsburg, NY. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY
