Yole Helen Miello, 76 of Hawley, PA passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. She was born on October 2, 1945 to William and Yole Sigelakis in Brooklyn, NY. On January 20, 1968, she married Anthony Miello at St. Mark’s Church in Brooklyn, who survives at home.

Also, surviving are her children Anthony and wife Stephanie of Wyandotte, MI, Helen and husband, Michael of Shohola, PA, and Laura of Nyack, NY; her grandchildren Jacqueline, Christopher, Nicholas, Alec and Athena. She is also survived by her siblings, brother William and sister Marguerite.

Yole was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She volunteered at her church and children’s schools. She was a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader for many years and was a member of the St. John Neumann Good Shepherd Columbiettes in Lords Valley. Yole had many interests, she was a great cook, loved to bake, and was skilled at sewing and quilting. She is deeply loved and will be missed by all.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made in Yole’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
