Theresa Elizabeth Campfield, 57, daughter of Jacoba “Cobi” Young Campfield and Floyd C. Campfield of Narrowsburg, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 27, 2022, following an extended illness.

Theresa was born in Callicoon, NY on September 28, 1964, the third of five children and second of two daughters. Theresa grew up in Narrowsburg in a house built by her great grandfather Lewis. She loved spending time with her large family and making lifetime friends with the Lorper Family who lived down the street.

Upon leaving her parents’ home, Theresa moved to Sullivan ARC in Liberty. She spent over twenty years there, creating lasting bonds with her fellow residents and Program Director Maxine. Theresa loved music, enjoyed dinners out, and took great delight in taking week-long trips to visit her Aunts Kathleen Young and Patricia Cooke down south.

Theresa is survived by her brothers, Floyd J. “Lurch” Campfield (Anna), Steve Campfield (Georgia), and Tommie Campfield, as well as an extensive loving family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home, 3412 NY-97, Barryville, NY 12719. Services will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022; Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Narrowsburg, NY, with a Service at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg, NY, immediately after the Service
