Dominick M. Furlipa, 21, a lifelong resident of Eldred, NY, died Sunday, August 17, 2025, in Great Falls, Montana, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Dominick was born on June 2, 2004, to Michelle (Carlucci) Furlipa and Martin John Furlipa Jr. After graduating from Eldred Central School in 2023, he ventured to Montana to pursue his welding career, a trade he was deeply passionate about.

Dominick had a true love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, hunting, and fishing, and he never passed up the opportunity for a new adventure. He was also an avid sports fan and athlete, participating in football, baseball, and snowboarding throughout his life.

Above all, Dominick will be remembered for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.

Dominick leaves behind his mother Michelle of Barryville; his father Martin John of Montana; and his older brother Joseph Furlipa of Barryville. He is also survived by his grandfather (PopPop) Michael Carlucci of Port Jervis, NY; his aunts Jinda (Troy) Conklin of Chester, NY, and Danielle Hughes of Barryville, NY; his uncle Michael Carlucci of Port Jervis, NY; his cousins Aerial Carlucci of Port Jervis, NY, and Jade (Gabe) Parker of Port Jervis, NY; along with many more cousins, extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his grandmother Patricia Carlucci; grandfather Martin John Furlipa, Sr. and grandmother Pranee Furlipa.

Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2025 from 1:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 9:00 – 10:30am at the Harrison Rasmussen Funeral Home of Barryville, 3412 SR 97, Barryville, NY.  A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday August 26, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 123 Richardson Ave., Shohola, PA.
